Becoming part of the CPC network is a reminder of why we work so hard to provide top-quality, professional flight training. Backed by Textron Aviation, FTL now has access to exclusive programs that are designed to provide our students with some of the best training materials the industry has to offer. Join us in congratulating Private Pilot Student Michael H. in completing his long cross country solo on Sunday February 16th. Michael started training with Fly There in December of 2018, eventually soloing in September of 2019.

Michael chose to fly from Chicago Executive to Madison, WI and then onto Rockford before returning back to PWK. After a short delay for weather in the morning, Mike cruised along at 4,500 feet up to Madison where he navigated the Class C airspace like a champ. After Madison, Mike continued on to Rockford and called up for flight following along the way, eventually navigating his way back to Executive without issue.

A HUGE congrats to Mike on his journey toward earning his Private Pilot certificate and for reaching another big milestone along the way!
