Established in 2011, Fly There provides a full range of flight instruction, aircraft rental and asset management services from the Chicago Executive Airport located in Wheeling, Illinois. Our independent instructors specialize in providing an educational, exciting and memorable experience for your first flight or hundredth takeoff.

Jason M. Unger - CFI, CFII, MEI
Hello, I would like to introduce myself as the founder of Fly There, LLC at Chicago Executive Airport (PWK). I’ve been involved in aviation since the age of 13, and am excited to share any experiences that may prove valuable when evaluating your options for choosing the correct flight school. I have experience and qualifications in a wide range of aircraft which include but are not limited to the Cirrus SR 20 and 22 (T), Bonanza, Decathlon, Piper Mirage/Matrix/Meridian, Cessna 310 & 421, Pilatus PC-12/NG, TBM and a type rating in the EA-50 Eclipse Jet. In addition I have experience using Garmin 430/530W’s, 650/750’s, Avidyne EX 500 and 5000, Garmin G500/G600 and G1000, Aspen EFD 1000 as well as various autopilots.
As a career flight instructor, it is my goal to provide you with the proper information when the time is right. I look forward for the opportunity to meet with you and discuss our flight school and the benefits associated with us. BRIAN SHERIDAN - CFI, CFII
Brian Sheridan grew up in Dublin, Ireland and always had a passion for aviation. He moved to the United States in 2011 where he began a career in sales. In 2021, he decided to leave his sales career and started his journey in aviation at ATP Flight Training School at KPWK.
CHRIS NGUYEN - CFI, CFII, mei
Chris Nguyen started flying in the summer of 2021. Born and raised in Chicago, he attended the ATP Flight Training School at both KDPA and KPWK going from zero-time to MEI in just under 11 months.
JAKE SOUKUP - CFI
Jake Soukup started his aviation journey in 2020. He earned the majority of his certificates at ATP at KDPA. He moved on to earn his flight instructor rating at JA Flight Training and has been instructing for over a year at KPWK.
Jared Dellinger - Gold seal CFI, CFII, MEI
Jared Dellinger, was named a 2023 Distinguished Flight Instructor through AOPA's Flight Training Experience Awards. He started flying in 2009 after returning from the Peace Corps and eventually earned his private pilot certificate in 2013. Originally from Virginia, Jared moved to Illinois in 2010 for graduate school, where he earned a Master's in Applied Economics at ISU in Bloomington. After moving to the Chicago area, he then pursued advanced aviation certificates out of DuPage Airport, earning his Instrument, Commercial, and CFI certificates.
His flying experience includes the Cessna family of C172, C182, C182RG, and C210 as well as the Cirrus SR20/22, Bonanza BE36, Piper PA-28-181 and PA-44 equipped with Garmin G1000, the GNS 4XX/5XX series, GTN 650/750, and Aspen's EFD 1000. In addition to training, Jared also flies our managed aircraft including the Pilatus PC12 and TBM 850, providing pilot services to our clients for their respective missions.
DONNA UNGER - OFFICE MANAGER
Donna Unger comes to Fly There with 20 years experience in retail merchandising, marketing and product development. After a 16 year career with the Art Institute of Chicago she decided it was time to forge a new path. Currently, Donna manages the day to day office operations and maintains client relations.
